Meghalaya is home to some of the wettest places on Earth, such as Cherrapunji and Mawsynram. It is also known for unique natural wonders like living root bridges, caves, and crystal-clear rivers. The state has a rich tribal culture, mainly of the Khasi, Garo, and Jaintia communities, making it both culturally and naturally very special for tourists.
Itinerary
Welcome to Awesome Assam. Meet and be assisted by our representative at the Guwahati airport/Railway Station. Transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the ‘One Horned Indian Rhinoceros’. Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for Leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park
Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on the back of an elephant (extra cost). Apart from world's endangered One Horned Indian Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tiger anywhere. Kaziranga National Park is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of Birds. We will return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon we proceed for a jeep safari (extra cost). Overnight stay at Kaziranga National Park

In the morning post breakfast proceeds to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East". Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani). You may do the water sports here (at your own cost). On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening you can visit Police Bazaarwhich is the biggest local market. Overnight stay at Shillong
After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village, the cleanest village in India. This cute and colorful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. Visit Dawki, It is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening we will return back to Shillong. Overnight in Shillong
After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, this is the wettest place in the world. Here you will visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point, Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Evening we will return back to Hotel. Overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and later take transfer to the Guwahati. On arrival transfer to the hotel and complete check in Later as time permits we may take a tour of the Kamakhya Temple and other Temples in Guwahati namely Umananda Temple at the Peacock Island which is the smallest inhabited River Island in the World, the Assam State Emporiums. Later return to the hotel. Overnight in the Guwahati
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and take transfer to the Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.

All payments towards the total tour cost must be made by the client directly to the company as per the procedure and timelines communicated at the time of booking. A minimum booking amount, as specified below, is required to confirm the reservation. This amount acts as a booking guarantee and remains non-refundable and interest-free, subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
The balance tour amount must be settled according to the payment schedule mentioned in the invoice or confirmation letter, whichever is earlier. In case of any billing discrepancy, the company reserves the right to revise or reissue the invoice. Any cheque returned unpaid by the bank will attract additional bank charges and handling fees per instance, and legal action may be initiated if required.
Tour pricing is calculated based on the prevailing rates at the time of quotation. The full tour cost must be cleared at least 30 days prior to the date of departure or by the due date mentioned on the invoice. Delayed payments may attract interest charges as applicable. The company reserves the right to revise prices in case of changes in taxes, fuel costs, or service rates before departure.
Any increase in tour cost arising before departure must be paid in full by the client prior to travel. All tour prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices, inclusions, and services may vary depending on the destination, travel date, or package category and cannot be compared universally.
All payments must be made in Indian Rupees unless specifically agreed otherwise. Payments via demand draft, bank transfer, cheque, or approved online payment gateways are accepted. Any charges levied by banks or payment gateways shall be borne by the client.
For international tours, foreign exchange rates applicable on the date of payment will be considered. The company shall not be responsible for fluctuations in currency rates or additional charges imposed by banks or financial institutions.
